Academic Support Specialist

Job Description:
The role of Learning Mentor at Qualiteach Ltd is to provide academic support to students in a mainstream Primary school in Hackney. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience working in UK schools and hold an enhanced DBS on the update service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver appropriate intervention strategies to ensure students make rapid and sustained progress.
- Supervise students at breaks and lunchtimes and take duties as required.
- Collaborate with subject leaders to ensure students receive the best possible support.
Requirements:
- 6 months experience minimum working in UK schools.
- DBS on the update service.
- Empathy, feedback, communication, coaching, collaboration, and time management skills.

The primary school consists of 219 children, aged 3 to 11. It's a vibrant and diverse community, located in Hackney, where there is an underground and overground station in walking distance from the school.
