Main Responsibilities:
As a key member of the Ben Sherman Head Office team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand's visual identity. Your primary focus will be to generate innovative design ideas and concepts that align with the brand's DNA. Through close collaboration with the Brand Director, you will develop and refine your designs, taking them from initial research to full technical packs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct independent research to stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor analysis.
- Develop and present design concepts that meet the brand's aesthetic and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, product development, and buyers, to ensure seamless product launches.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date technical packs for product development.
- Develop and implement color palettes and Pantone shades in collaboration with the design team.
- Attend design meetings, note-taking, and contributing ideas where necessary.
- Create and update design packs in Adobe Illustrator, liaising with product development teams.
- Review and finalize fabric handlooms and color strike-offs with product teams.
- Participate in fit sessions to follow through the development process and manage updates to design packs.
- Prepare and organize samples for presentations and meetings.
