Job Role: Maintenance Controller

Our client, a leading tool, plant, and powered access hire company, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Controller to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of their equipment fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the depot, managing breakdowns, and coordinating with the engineering and transport teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing breakdowns and coordinating with engineers to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Updating job cards and allocating tasks efficiently.
  • Monitoring machine availability and ensuring accurate status updates.
  • Collaborating with the engineering and transport teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience in the plant, powered access, tool, or material handling industries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve service issues efficiently.
