Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Sheffield school. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and be able to provide 1:1 interventions, record keeping, and communication assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 interventions to pupils with SEMH needs
  • Record keeping and communication assistance
  • Ensure all pupils have equal opportunities to engage in the classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
