Speech and Language Therapist Vacancy

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our specialist stroke rehabilitation team at Vale Community Hospital in Dursley.

The successful applicant will have significant experience in stroke rehabilitation and a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care. The salary range for this position is £38,000-£45,000 per annum, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver specialist speech and language therapy services to patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvements and quality initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to healthcare professionals on speech and language therapy best practices.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • A degree in Speech and Language Therapy from a recognised institution is essential.
  • Registration with the HCPC and membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists is also necessary.
  • Postgraduate training in dysphagia is desirable.
