Your primary duties will include completing rosters, ensuring administrative tasks are carried out efficiently, and managing your own time effectively. Additionally, you may be involved in the recruitment of frontline colleagues, liaising with customers, tenants, and contractors.

This is a varied role that requires someone with a background in supervising colleagues, ideally within a facilities management context. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and submitting reports, including timesheets verification, absence records, annual leave information, stock order forms, and Health & Safety audits.
  • Undertaking staff rostering, ensuring all absences are covered, and implementing effective workforce planning.
  • Leading the recruitment process for new staff members, conducting appraisals, and monitoring personal development.
  • Recruiting, inducting, and training new employees or less experienced staff as required.
  • Managing delegated budgets and undertaking financial planning.
  • Liaising with customers, tenants, contractors, and service users to understand day-to-day service pressures and coordinate responses.
  • Creating and managing purchase orders and timesheets.

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, 27 days' holiday (excluding bank holidays), access to a group personal pension plan, and opportunities for training and development.
