This is an exciting opportunity to work with South West London & St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust as a Clinical Specialist. As part of our team, you will be responsible for delivering Structured Clinical Management (SCM) in a community setting. Our team works with individuals who have Complex Emotional Needs or a diagnosis of personality disorder.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Clinical Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing SCM plans in conjunction with other team members. You will also participate in clinical and managerial supervision, and be responsible for the flexible management of a defined caseload.

Responsibilities
  1. Implement SCM plans for patients with mental health problems using evidence-based practice.
  2. Participate in regular supervision sessions to reflect on skills, attitude, and knowledge.
  3. Manage a caseload of clients with Complex Emotional Needs or a diagnosis of personality disorder.
  4. Work within policy, professional, and legal frameworks at all times.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current professional registration as a Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, or equivalent.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Knowledge of relevant national policy and legislation.
  • Experience of working in the community.
Benefits

The salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a contributory pension scheme, generous annual leave entitlement, and opportunities for professional development.
