Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Tooling Specialist to maintain and prepare extrusion tooling, ensuring optimal performance in our manufacturing facility. This role involves key responsibilities such as maintaining and preparing extrusion tooling to the highest standard, repairing, maintaining, and improving tooling dies, jigs, fixtures, and fittings, reviewing internal processes for continuous improvement, and providing leadership and support in the management of tool stores and training others.

The ideal candidate will have strong Health & Safety awareness, prior experience in a tooling/toolmaking role using machine tools, and minimum level 3 engineering with at least 3 years' experience in an engineering environment. They must be able to read and understand 2D tooling drawings and have hands-on experience with machine tools. Additionally, they should demonstrate high attention to detail and evidenced experience of achieving production targets and implementing improvement plans. The successful applicant will also be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Benefits and Salary

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of £43,000 per annum, plus £300 per quarter attendance bonus.
