At Premea, we are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Quality Specialist to join our team. This role will be based at our Solihull Plant, working within the Product Engineering Function.

Salary: £30,000 per annum.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to lead and drive activities that reduce manufacturing variability on vehicle lines, improve product quality, and deliver against key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and report on current car internal and external customer KPIs, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  2. Lead and manage project teams to solve complex problems, improve processes, and implement engineering changes.
  3. Provide technical support to the production plant, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce functional faults and improve overall product quality.
  5. Analyze data and develop strategies to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
  6. Work closely with the Product Engineering Quality Domain to ensure alignment with business objectives and goals.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field, with experience in the automotive industry.
  • Strong project management skills, including Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop insights to inform business decisions.
