Key Responsibilities- Develop business requirements documents, non-functional requirements documents, and user stories with associated success criteria.
- Create business process and workflow diagrams, requirements traceability matrices, and risk and issue identification documents.
- Conduct gap analysis, data mapping, and review vendor-created documentation, such as training materials and specification documents.
- Design test scenarios and testing scripts, and conduct post-implementation reviews.
- Underwriting requirements and processes, with PAS systems implementation experience as an alternative.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with complex systems implementations across multiple functional areas and territories.
- Self-starter able to work without day-to-day direction.
- Experience working successfully with multiple vendors and internal delivery teams to achieve on-time, on-budget, and quality delivery.
- Strong IT and business stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work directly with key business resources across underwriting and actuarial.
- Document current business processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Create detailed process maps and diagrams to aid in visualizing and understanding current and future states.
- Have a broad understanding of application and environment architecture, including data flow into an Enterprise Data Warehouse and onwards to further downstream applications.
- Communicate project recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Facilitate meetings and presentations to share insights and gather feedback.
- Previous experience with commercial combined insurance products is beneficial.
