Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team at Pioneer Search. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our client's Agile driven transformation, working on PAS and claims solutions in the London Market.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage day-to-day technical and business needs of the servicing platforms, working closely with delivery teams to translate business requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria. You will also be responsible for ensuring robust business user testing is performed and signed off at the business and senior IT levels.

We are looking for a Business Analyst with experience in specialty insurance, specifically in Policy Admin and Claims Systems. You should have a strong understanding of data models, APIs, and SQL, as well as experience in Kanban and Scrum, and Agile methodology. Excellent communication and relationship management skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing high-quality analysis, adhering to required standards, processes, and governance
  • Clearly understanding processes from technical and users' perspectives and their impact on the business
  • Working closely with delivery teams to translate business requirements into user stories
  • Ensuring robust business user testing is performed and signed off
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Business Analyst experience in specialty insurance, specifically in Policy Admin and Claims Systems
  • Experience in data models, APIs, and SQL
  • Experience in Kanban and Scrum, and Agile methodology
  • Strong relationship management skills, with keen eye for detail and excellent analytical thinker
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to details
