Senior Dietetic Role in Public Health

The Aneurin Bevan University Health Board seeks a highly skilled Senior Dietitian to lead our community nutrition services. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop and deliver expert care to older adults in community settings.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based nutritional care pathways for older adults in community settings.
  • To provide clinical supervision and guidance to dietetic staff members.
  • Liaise with public health and primary care team leads to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Promote cost-effective and appropriate prescribing of oral nutritional supplements within the community.

Requirements:

  • Essential qualifications: BSC/MSc/PGDip Dietetics, HCPC registration, and a Certificate in leadership or Master's module in leadership.
  • Experience in planning service delivery, providing clinical supervision, and working in challenging circumstances.
