We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Assistant (Domestic) to join our team at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Facilities team, you will play a vital role in providing a comprehensive cleaning service for our in-patient and community settings.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out general cleaning duties in accordance with Trust policy, national cleaning standards, and local instruction.
- Ensure infection control, COSHH, and health and safety procedures are always followed.
- Follow cleaning schedules to maintain high levels of cleanliness in all areas.
- Report incidents or near misses as per Trust policy.
- Dispose of waste safely and in accordance with Trust guidelines.
- Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by senior staff.

Requirements- NVQ 2 or equivalent experience.
- Experience of cleaning services, COSHH knowledge, and colour coding.
- Good liaison and communication skills, punctuality, and reliability.
Please note that formal cleaning qualifications and experience working to NHS National Cleaning standards are desirable but not essential. We encourage applications from individuals with a lived experience of mental illness or as a carer.
