About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Surveyor Engineer (Pressure and LEV Inspection) to join our team at Speedy Hire. As a leading provider of lifting and equipment inspection services in the UK, we have been providing specialist testing, inspection, maintenance, certification, and training services for over 200 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out high-quality inspections to ensure pressure equipment complies with current regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Operate within agreed authorities, inspection, and health and safety standards with a clear customer focus and drive to achieve optimal service delivery.
  • Compile full reports on work carried out and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • ASME- Level 1 and PSSR qualification/P601
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge and experience with carrying out LOLER and PUWER Inspections
  • Experience working with Pressure Vessel systems and ability to compile full reports on work carried out
  • Excellent communication skills and proven technical knowledge of pressure equipment
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service
