Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated individual to join our team in Dumfries and Galloway as a Lived Experience Support Worker. This role involves providing high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group, utilizing your own lived experience to support others on their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships of trust with clients while maintaining professional boundaries
  • Support clients with their journey into recovery or maintaining their recovery
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a high-quality service is maintained
  • Participate in ongoing learning and development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • SVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care (as required for SSSC registration purposes)
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Ability to develop relationships of trust with clients
  • Non-judgmental and empathetic approach
