Main Responsibilities

As a Mixologist at Sodexo Live, you will be responsible for preparing and serving an extensive range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, bespoke creations, and wine and beer selections.

You will design, develop, and regularly update the cocktail and drinks menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and new trends while maintaining a balance of classic and innovative options.

Engage with customers to understand their preferences and provide personalized drink recommendations.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order and that health and safety standards are met.

Train and mentor junior bar staff on cocktail preparation techniques, drink presentation, and service etiquette.

Manage stock levels, place orders with suppliers, and ensure that all ingredients are fresh and well-stocked.

Ensure compliance with all relevant licensing laws, including age verification procedures, and adhere to responsible alcohol service policies.

Participate in staff training, tastings, and events to promote the bar's offerings and enhance customer engagement.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a highly skilled Mixologist with a passion for creating new drinks and techniques and the ambition and skill to elevate and highlight the cocktail experience in our high-end members club at the Fulham Pier.

You will have strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and mixology techniques and the creativity in developing new drinks.

Strong customer service abilities, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential.

You will also have a passion for mixology and keeping up to date with industry trends.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and impress guests through a personalized bar experience.

What We Offer

You will be rewarded with a salary of between £30,000 and £40,000 plus access to a range of benefits, including a performance-related bonus, employer pension contribution, and life assurance.
