Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant 2-form entry Primary School in Ealing. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers in delivering engaging and creative lessons, incorporating your background in Music, Drama, Dance, or Art to enhance the learning experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Teachers: Assist teachers in planning and delivering creative lessons, incorporating your artistic skills to enhance the learning experience.
  • Small Group Work: Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis, helping students to develop their academic and artistic skills.
  • Project Planning: Assist in the planning and preparation of creative projects and performances, enriching the school's curriculum with artistic activities.
  • Learning Environment: Help to create an inclusive and dynamic learning environment where every child feels encouraged to express themselves.
  • Student Support: Support the personal and social development of students, contributing to their confidence and creativity.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A degree in a Performing Arts subject, such as Music, Drama, Dance, or Art.
  • Passion for Education: A passion for education and nurturing creativity in young learners.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Proactive Attitude: A proactive and positive attitude, with a desire to inspire students through creative and artistic activities.
