Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Child Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing senior clinician services to our Community Paediatric Service. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about improving the lives of children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior clinician services to the Community Paediatric Service, as per job plan or as agreed within the service.
  • Work collaboratively with consultant/specialist colleagues, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to ensure efficient use of resources and contribute actively to clinical governance in the department.
  • Show flexibility and undertake different clinical tasks within allocated sessions at the request of the Clinical Service Lead.
  • Actively participate in teaching programs and supervise medical trainees and other multi-professional staff.
Requirements
  • CCT or CESR-CP in Paediatrics or equivalent.
  • Has achieved competencies relating to General Paediatric Training.
  • MSc. in Community Child Health or Paediatrics, MD/PhD, or other higher degree.

We offer a competitive salary package, including a basic salary of £105,504-£139,882 per annum, depending on experience.
