Accounting Operations Supervisor EMEA

Salute, a global leader in delivering Data Center services, is seeking an experienced Accounting Operations Supervisor to join our EMEA team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for directing and supervising accounting operations functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, expenses, and overseeing daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership to the accounting operations team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth.
- Responsible for adhering to appropriate controls and segregation of duties.
- Project set-up, AR, invoicing, collections, AP, expenses, credit cards, and vendor payments.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of client invoices, cash applications, and project-related transactions.
- Support collections analysis to maximize DSO efficiency.
- Oversee credit card and expense processes.
- Support vendor analysis and drives cost reductions when appropriate.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to transactional accounting activities.
- Utilize expertise in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to identify efficiencies and streamline accounting operations and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot system issues and optimize functionality.
- Assists management with important financial decisions, provides ad hoc and regular reporting on AR, AP, cash.
- Provides support for company annual audits.
- Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience level of 3-5 years.
- Experience in a professional services or data center background a plus.
- Experience in working with outsourced shared service environment.
- Regional EMEA experience.
- Able to communicate well within the organization as a remote employee.
- Possess positive attitude and team-player with a customer service mindset.
- Knowledge of Sage Intacct or similar accounting software package a plus.
- Knowledge of Salesforce a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Must possess strong project management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
This is a full-time position based remotely in the United Kingdom, with business travel as needed to meet business demands. At Salute, we don't have employees; we have team members.
