Job Summary:
Audit Manager is required for a forward-thinking, innovative firm in Plymouth. This role involves leading audits from planning to completion and ensuring high-quality service for clients.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will have experience gained in a UK accountancy practice (essential) and be ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent). Strong knowledge of UK audit standards and financial reporting is also required. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Responsibilities:
- Leading audits from planning to completion
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients, building strong, long-term relationships
- Reviewing the work of junior auditors and providing guidance and support to help them develop
- Monitoring performance of audit delivery against agreed KPIs and reporting on this
- Identifying areas for client improvement and offering value-added advice
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in audit and accounting regulations
