Job Opportunity: Study Programme Coach

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Study Programme Coach to join our team at Barclay Meade. This role involves delivering training and coaching to learners with high-level Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) at our Northwich site.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated and organised individual with strong communication and coaching skills. They will be capable of managing a demanding workload while supporting learners in developing the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to succeed in their apprenticeship programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of learners, conducting regular interventions to support progress and achievement.
  • Capture evidence for learning, achievement, and funding in a timely and effective manner.
  • Plan and deliver one-on-one coaching, both remotely and face-to-face, including observation of practice.
  • Inspire and motivate learners, adapting to their individual needs and removing barriers to learning.
  • Deliver Maths and English to support learners' overall development.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Essential:
    • Assessor Qualification (TAQA, CAVA, A1 or equivalent) or willingness to work towards it.
    • Strong communication and coaching skills.
    • Experience in planning, organising, and prioritising workloads.

Job Specific Skills:

  • Ability to deliver effective coaching tailored to learner needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with a track record of meeting key performance indicators.
