Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience, managing and training staff, maintaining inventory and supplies, managing budgets and financials, and implementing marketing and promotional strategies.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage a high-performing team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service
  2. Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests, adhering to health and safety regulations
  3. Develop and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies to increase sales and revenue
  4. Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including budgets and profit and loss statements
  5. Recruit, train, and schedule staff to meet the needs of the business
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a managerial role in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Strong knowledge of beverages, including wines, whiskeys, and cocktails
  • Ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests
  • Experience in staff hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of budgeting, financials, and profit and loss management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus
