Page Personnel Sales is seeking a talented and ambitious Finance Analyst Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for assisting with financial analysis and reporting, participating in budget planning and management, conducting variance analysis, supporting audit processes, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in financial analysis and reporting by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate in budget planning and management by working closely with the finance team to develop and implement budgets that align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Conduct variance analysis to understand financial performance by comparing actual results to budgeted amounts and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Support audit processes by working closely with auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits.
  • Prepare financial statements by collecting and analyzing data, and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Earn a salary of £35-40,000 per annum.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to accurately collect and analyze data.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
