About the Role:

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Financial Operations to join our team at Pertemps Derby. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for achieving efficient financial management through leadership and coaching.

Main Responsibilities:

">
  • Lead and coach a small team to ensure efficient delivery of financial management.
  • Ensure up-to-date transaction processing and produce all necessary legislative reports, including accounts and VAT returns.
  • Provide technical advice in various areas, manage daily banking, cash flow forecasting, and maintain an accurate fixed asset register.
  • Support the production of management reporting and lead audit processes.
  • Contribute to health and safety assistance and provide hands-on business support as required.

Requirements:

">
  • CIMA or ACCA qualified.
  • Previous experience in a senior manager role.
  • Knowledge of corporation tax, accounting standards, and PAYE.
  • Sage proficiency is desirable.
  • Proactive attitude with a practical approach.

Location: Derby

Salary: £60,000 per annum
