Our client, a leading global provider of engineering infrastructure solutions, is seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the organisation operates in line with environmental guidelines and targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental legislation.
  2. Manage and develop the environmental department by providing training and overseeing environmental staff.
  3. Oversee all aspects of environmental concerns related to waste management operations.
  4. Ensure adherence to best practices and existing environmental legislation at all construction sites.
  5. Conduct regular environmental audits across all construction sites.
  6. Participate in the strategic planning and development of the company's waste management facilities.
  7. Create material management plans for projects with identified contamination or environmental concerns.
  8. Work with site teams to address environmental or remediation issues that arise during works.
  9. Research and implement new systems to improve efficiency in response to environmental legislative changes.
Requirements:
  1. Degree in an environmental subject.
  2. Proven experience as an Environmental Manager.
  3. Computer literate.
  4. Full UK driving licence.
