This Specialist Speech and Language Therapist role at Cygnet Bury Dunes offers the opportunity to work with a complex client group, providing assessment and therapy for Deaf men and women with mental health needs.
About the TeamYou will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality care. The successful candidate will have a Diploma/Degree in Speech and Language Therapy, HCPC registration and membership with the RCSLT.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a clinical service for a complex client group using evidence-based practice and specialist clinical advice
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Teach/training to staff at the site under the guidance of a supervising Speech and Language Therapist
The salary for this role is up to £36,807 per year, plus benefits including training in British Sign Language (BSL) and other Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities relevant to your role. You will also receive an annual leave entitlement that increases with length of service and be part of a company-paid life assurance scheme.
Requirements- Diploma/Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration and membership with the RCSLT
- Recognised skills in sign language (desirable but training available)
