We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adoption Recruitment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Recruitment and Assessment Team, you will play a vital role in identifying and assessing prospective adopters, linking and matching them with children in need of a permanent family.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and dedicated team, working with children and families to provide a permanent and loving home. As an Adoption Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Recruiting, preparing, and assessing prospective adopters
  • Linking and matching approved adopters with children
  • Providing support to prospective adopters throughout the adoption process
  • Preparing reports for adoption panels and courts
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Social Work Qualification (degree or equivalent) and current registration with Social Work England
  • Experience of working as a Social Worker or having had a student social work placement with children and families
  • An understanding of early life experiences and their impact on children and young people
  • The ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
