We are seeking an experienced Corporate Claims Specialist to join our team at Davies in Liverpool.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of handling multi-track file claims, with a strong focus on Employers' and Public Liability (EL/PL) cases. You will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, assessing liability and quantum, devising strategies to resolve cases, and providing expert advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building strong relationships with corporate clients, liaising with clients, brokers, and insurers as required.
- Managing a mixed caseload of EL/PL multi-track cases, valuing between £25k - £100K, with some cases exceeding £100K.
- Assessing and advising on liability and quantum, developing strategies to resolve cases effectively.
- Drafting pleadings, collating witness evidence, and attending court or trials as necessary.
- Achieving targets in chargeable hours, WIP, and client MI, while ensuring compliance with SRA standards and regulations.
- Maintaining excellent communication skills, working collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in EL/PL multi-track file handling, preferably with a strong background in claims management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex claims and develop effective strategies.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently, meeting deadlines and targets.
