Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse - Mental Health Hospital

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at a newly commissioned mental health hospital in Derby. As a key member of our staff, you will provide high-quality care to patients aged 18 and above, while supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable leading provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities. You will be responsible for ensuring patients receive the best possible care, while also contributing to a positive and friendly staff culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care to patients aged 18 and above
  • Support colleagues and promote positive teamwork
  • Contribute to a positive and friendly staff culture
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients

Requirements:

  • A relevant nursing qualification (RMN)
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • A minimum of 1 year of mental health experience (low-high secure, forensic, acute, PICU, NHS or private)
  • Strong team-working skills
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
