We are seeking a compassionate and supportive Personal Assistant to join our team to assist a disabled lady with daily living tasks in a live-in carer arrangement.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will provide personal care and support to a disabled lady, including showering, dressing, and catheter care, as well as assisting with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and household tasks. The role also involves supporting the lady's 17-year-old son, who suffers from ME, nose bleeds, and chronic tiredness.

Main Duties:
  • Personal care and support
  • Assistance with daily living tasks
  • Supporting the lady's son with his daily routine
  • Assisting with household tasks, including laundry and cleaning
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
Requirements:
  • Trained in medication support and super pubic catheter care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Clean driving license
Working Arrangements:

The successful candidate will work on a week-on, week-off basis, with a rate of pay of £809.94 per week. A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check and completion of mandatory training care courses are required. Satisfactory references from two referees are also necessary.
