Job Title: Deputy Head of Conveyancing

Role Overview
TSR Legal is seeking an exceptional individual to join their Senior Management Team as Deputy Head of Conveyancing. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Conveyancing to support the day-to-day operations of the Conveyancing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure full compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including AML and client care standards.
  • Team Development: Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new Conveyancers.
  • Mentorship & Coaching: Provide guidance to conveyancing teams, acting as a coach and mentor on complex transactional matters, and handle any HR-related issues.
  • Client Service Delivery: Manage escalated complaints, handle LEO matters, and provide targeted training to improve client service.
  • Operational Support: Offer strategic and operational support to the Head of Conveyancing across all areas of the department's functioning.


Requirements
To be considered for this role, please ensure your CV highlights the following:

  • PQE & Certification: Minimum of 5 years PQE with a current Practising Certificate.
  • Management Experience: Proven experience in a management role within a fast-paced and paper-free Conveyancing firm or legal practice.
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive technical knowledge of conveyancing, with experience training, managing, and mentoring both trainee and experienced conveyancers.
  • Policy Development: Previous experience creating and implementing office, department, and technical policies and procedures.
  • Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
