The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our financial statements through balance sheet reconciliation, internal control reviews, and month-end closing activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Assisting in reviewing and evaluating internal processes and controls, identifying any deficiencies.
  • Providing expert advice on the design and implementation of effective internal controls.
  • Supporting the month-end closing process and the preparation of management accounts.
  • Participating in reforecasting and budgeting exercises to align financial projections with business objectives.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant with relevant experience.
  • Proven experience with month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Strong background in streamlining processes, designing, and implementing effective controls.
  • Auditing experience focused on internal controls is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
