Job Title: Field Support Specialist

We are currently recruiting for a Field Support Specialist to join our team at Princess Yachts. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating and documenting the condition of vessels, as well as undertaking rectification works both in the UK and overseas.

Main Goals and Objectives

To be the representative of the business in a professional and courteous manner at all times, being respectful of customers, their yacht(s), and the circumstances that require intervention by Princess Yachts Limited.

  • Exceed customer expectations
Responsibilities/Tasks

Field Support:

  • Carry out high-quality works in line with GWI and best practice
  • To be respectful of the yacht, ensuring access routes and working areas are fully protected prior to works commencing
  • To ensure that all waste is disposed of in accordance with local regulations and that the yacht is cleaned prior to sign off
  • Liaising with Distributors and PYL colleagues to determine the scope of works and deliver Fix First Time
  • Working onboard yachts in marinas, shipyards, or private residences
  • Travelling for extended periods of time and working out of hours to complete jobs in agreed timeframes
  • Travelling at short notice

Fix First Time:

  • Audit or testing of vessels to establish the condition and scope of works required
  • Determine the parts, materials, equipment, facilities, and timeframe required to undertake the required works
  • Ensuring all parts, materials, equipment, and facilities are in place prior to commencement of works

HS&E:

  • Being responsible for your personal safety when auditing a vessel or undertaking works and the safety of your colleagues or other persons onboard the vessel
  • Understand and follow the company's H&SE policies when working offsite; liaising with direct managers to minimise risks or concerns
  • Ensure all personal contact details are valid prior to travel
  • Ensure all relevant Insurance certificates & VISA requirements are in place
  • Know the Out of Hours contacts
