About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our gastroenterology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Intestinal Rehabilitation Unit (IRU) Leadership: You will have a rotating responsibility with other consultants to cover the IRU, outlier patients, general gastroenterology clinic, and nutrition clinic.
  2. Endoscopy Sessions: You will be responsible for conducting two endoscopy sessions per week.
  3. On-Call Commitment: You will have an on-call commitment for gastroenterology, including GI bleeding cases.
  4. Teaching and Research: You will be expected to contribute to postgraduate and undergraduate teaching, with opportunities to carry out research.
