Consultant Gastroenterologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our team at Triple West Medical. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy and well-developed Gastroenterology department, covering a broad range of services to patients with gastrointestinal disorders.

About the Role

As a Consultant Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of medical and surgical gastroenterologists, and contributing to the development of the department. You will have the opportunity to develop a sub-specialty of your choice and engage in upper and lower GI clinics, FDS pathways, and 24/7 GI bleed on-call rota.

Our client is located just 30 minutes from Central London and easily accessible to the coast and the Essex countryside. They operate two emergency departments and offer a full range of acute services, including a neuroscience centre, a cancer centre, a hyper acute stroke unit, and a dedicated breast care service.

Our client has a busy but very well-developed Gastroenterology department, performing over 18,000 GI endoscopy procedures per year. This makes it an ideal environment for delivering endoscopic care and training. The department is jointly led by specialist medical and surgical gastroenterologists and offers a range of services, including rapid access to diagnostics for patients with GI malignancies through endoscopy and Faster Diagnostic Standard (FDS).
