Senior Land Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Land Manager to join our team at Vistry Group. As a key member of our land acquisition team, you will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring land opportunities for our development projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the land acquisition process, including identifying suitable land opportunities, negotiating with landowners, and managing the due diligence process. You will also have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with landowners, consultants, and other stakeholders.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial developments, and will be responsible for ensuring that all land acquisitions are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing and acquiring land opportunities for development projects
  • Negotiating with landowners and other stakeholders to secure land acquisitions
  • Managing the due diligence process, including conducting site visits and reviewing title deeds
  • Coordinating with consultants and other stakeholders to ensure that all land acquisitions are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Providing regular updates to senior management on land acquisition progress and any issues that may arise
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in land acquisition or a related field
  • Strong understanding of the land acquisition process, including identifying suitable land opportunities and negotiating with landowners
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with landowners, consultants, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
