Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Inspector to join our team at Thales UK. As an Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our defence electronics and avionics solutions. You will work closely with our production and repair teams to verify that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect production and repair items to ensure they meet product defining data and company workmanship standards.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of associated documentation.
  • Conduct first article inspections to ensure that new products meet quality and performance standards.
  • Maintain equipment and tooling as required to ensure efficient and effective inspection processes.
  • Support the development and implementation of company processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements
  • Apprenticeship or ONC in inspection of wiring and assembly of military and civil products.
  • Certified to IPC 610 and 620.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Good communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
