About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Inspector to join our team at Thales, a leading provider of defence electronics and integrated air defence systems. As an Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products, working closely with our teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions to armed forces around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect production and repair items to ensure compliance with product defining data and company workmanship standards.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of associated documentation.
  • Conduct first article inspections and maintain equipment and tooling as required.
  • Support the generation, modification, and validation of company processes, procedures, practices, and standards.
  • Contribute to effective improvement activities within the industry.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of IPC standards and a passion for quality assurance. You will have excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels within the business, suppliers, partners, and customers.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Apprenticeship/ONC or practical experience in the inspection of wiring and assembly of military and civil products.
  • Certified to IPC 610 and 620.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Good problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Quick learner, open-minded, and receptive to change.
