We are seeking a skilled Facilities Management Specialist to join our team at one of our schools in Chester. This is a unique opportunity to utilise your expertise in maintaining school buildings and amenities, ensuring they remain safe and functional for students and staff.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising the work of the caretaking and cleaning staff, arranging work schedules, and monitoring cleaning duties. Your attention to detail and ability to identify maintenance issues will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our facilities.

  • Supervise the work of the caretaking and cleaning staff, including arranging work schedules and monitoring cleaning duties.
  • Maintain the school's buildings and amenities, including identifying and addressing any maintenance issues.
  • Implement training programs to ensure quality work and effective deployment of staff.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and test swimming pool facilities (experience required)
  • Ensure the administration and financial systems are maintained accurately.
  • Coordinate contract and tendering processes.
  • Identify breakdowns, faults, and repairs, and call out the appropriate contractor.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of administrative and financial systems. A competitive salary and benefits package are offered.

Salary Range: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
