School Facilities Manager

A School Facilities Manager is required to maintain the buildings and amenities of a school in Ellesmere Port. The ideal candidate will have experience in site management, supervision of staff, and technical knowledge.
Responsibilities- Maintain the school premises, including repairs and improvements.
- Monitor grounds maintenance and ensure compliance with contract specifications.
- Supervise caretaking and cleaning staff, arranging schedules and monitoring duties.
- Order supplies of cleaning materials and other equipment.
- Identify training needs for staff to achieve quality work.
- Clean and test swimming pools (experience required).
- Knowledge of building, fire, and health & safety regulations.
- Practical maintenance skills, including plumbing and electrics.
- Supervisory skills and ability to administer systems.
- Familiarity with contract and tendering processes.
- Operation of cleaning equipment and tools.
- Understanding of site services and their location.
- Ability to identify faults and call contractors as needed.
This permanent position offers a salary range of £27,000 - £30,000 per annum, based on experience.
