About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highway Infrastructure Project Lead to join our dynamic team in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and development of highways infrastructure, contributing to the improvement and expansion of transportation networks in the region.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a significant impact in the field of highway engineering, working with clients to understand their ultimate objectives and desired outcomes for each project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the financial, technical, and project management control of civil engineering aspects of small to large projects.
  • Contribute to work winning activities and project pipeline.
  • Take commercial responsibility for projects.
  • Ensure successful project delivery to time, cost, quality, and other contractual requirements.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience of delivering highway & drainage design; S278/38 Approval process and Water Authority Sections 104, 116, and 185 agreements.

A wide range of experience including working with housing developers is preferable. Knowledge of and engagement with the civil engineering industry is also essential.

Requirements
  • Strong leadership qualities and self-motivation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of project stakeholders.
  • Extensive IT literacy with excellent knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil3D and Microdrainage or similar software.
  • Demonstrable understanding of Health and Safety including CDM.
  • Knowledge of standard engineering practices.
