Job Title: Technology Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Solutions Engineer to join our team at Step Ahead. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and support business systems, including ERP and Field Service Management, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Engage with end-users to understand their processes and requirements, translating them into effective system improvements.
  • Design, implement, and enhance business systems to improve operational efficiency and customer interaction.
Custom Development & Integration:
  • Develop and maintain custom software solutions using languages such as C#, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Create and manage Azure Logic Apps and other integrations to automate processes across systems.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the company's website, preferably utilizing Umbraco/ASP.NET.
Project Management & Collaboration:
  • Lead or support IT and business system projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and are delivered on time.
  • Communicate new technology opportunities and help generate enthusiasm for new processes.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality documentation for IT systems and business processes.
IT Infrastructure Management:
  • Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, cloud services (Azure/Office 365), and data security protocols.
  • Ensure regular backups and disaster recovery plans are in place, using tools like Veeam.
  • Provide first-line support to around 100 users, troubleshooting both hardware and software issues.
