Teaching and Learning Assistant Job Summary

The Headteacher and Trust School Champions wish to appoint a professional, hard-working, and friendly individual to join our team.

Working part-time 18.75 hours over the week (each morning), term-time only plus inset days. This is a maternity cover role. At this point, we expect the start date of the vacancy to be November/as soon as the candidate is available, with an end date of October 25. As with all other maternity roles, the role may terminate earlier, dependant on when the individual returns to work.

The Teaching Assistant role is varied and includes a number of responsibilities, including delivering learning activities for individuals and groups of children, working closely with the class teacher to contribute to the management of behaviour, assisting with learning materials, promoting inclusion, establishing productive relationships, and acting as a role model.
