Senior Cloud Security Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Security Specialist to join our team at Smart DCC.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent role as a Cloud Security Architect, creating a high-level cloud security architecture aligned with our CTO's cloud strategy.
You will work with key service providers, creating a roadmap to implement architectural building blocks and ensuring efficient and secure deployment.
Key Responsibilities- Creation of a cloud security architecture that meets our business needs and aligns with industry best practices.
- Development of a roadmap to implement architectural building blocks, ensuring efficient and secure deployment.
- Translation of business requirements into technical controls, maintaining traceability throughout the process.
- Effective communication with design teams, relaying technical requirements to ensure smooth implementation.
- Leadership of technical meetings with service providers, driving collaboration and progress.
- Experience as a Cloud Security Architect in complex environments, preferably with multi-cloud deployments and outsourced environments.
- Able to process conflicting project requirements, creating a strategic framework for successful delivery.
- Familiarity with the DCC Security Architecture Framework and CSA CCM, demonstrating a logical approach to component delivery.
- Proven ability to work as a consultant or architect, reporting to C-level executives, and explaining security strategies in detail.
- Demonstrated technical background, understanding security components, risk reduction capabilities, and interdependencies in an enterprise environment.
Estimated Salary: £90,000 - £140,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
Hybrid Working Policy: 2 days office-based, 3 days remote.
