Salary Information

The hourly rate for this role is from £12.84 per hour, which is above industry standard. Your salary will be dependant on your qualification/s and experience.

Job Description

As an Early Years Educator with Bright Horizons, you will play a key role in supporting nursery colleagues to deliver the EYFS framework. You will engage children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.

You will work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands, including hygiene standards and room preparation. Additionally, you will promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding.

You will also work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment, where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working with children (Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar)
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
  • Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable
