Babcock International Group is seeking a skilled Driver - Handler to join our team at RAF Benson. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and personnel.

The Role:

As a Driver - Handler, you will be responsible for providing professional driving services for all nominated tasks, meeting or exceeding customer and company expectations. You will work closely with Babcock and RAF stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving duties as required by the contract, including fuel bowser driving on shift to support flying operations
• Controlling all vehicle-related administration within Babcock guidelines, ensuring all personal licenses, medicals, and competencies are maintained
• Assisting in the ground movement of aircraft and participating in flight-line operations
• Preparing aircraft for upcoming flights, conducting see-in and see-off procedures, and authorizing fuel and oil replenishment on aircraft

This is a full-time role based onsite at RAF Benson. If you have a strong background in transportation and logistics, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.

Essential Experience:

• Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Good analytical/problem-solving skills
• Awareness of general Health and Safety
• Working knowledge of Tacho graphs

Qualifications:

• PSV, LGV, & ADR Qualified (candidates who do not hold all licenses will still be considered)
• Clean Driving Licence
• Working knowledge of Transport & Driver legal requirements
• Meet eye colour vision of CP2/CP3 for airfield airside operations

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS Clearance.
