Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Rosscare. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting wheelchairs, servicing and repairing wheelchairs in the field, and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering and collecting wheelchairs to and from service users' homes and NHS departments
  • Servicing and repairing wheelchairs in the field
  • Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
  • Using personal protective equipment (PPE) as instructed
  • Undertaking out-of-hours responsibilities when rostered

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Successful enhanced DBS check
  • General workshop knowledge
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Able to move and handle loads and equipment safely
  • Experience of face-to-face customer contact

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends. You will be required to use a company vehicle and will need to be able to lift and move equipment safely.
