About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Kerry Group plc. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and leading a team committed to maintaining the highest quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Laboratory Operations: Ensure the day-to-day operations of the Laboratory are in accordance with good laboratory practices (GLP), safety, and hygiene requirements.
  • Develop and Maintain Quality Systems: Maintain and develop the Laboratory Quality System and deliver Continuous Improvement.
  • Improve Laboratory Efficiency: Develop/implement/maintain systems to monitor and improve Laboratory efficiency and enable effective resource planning.
  • Investigate and Improve Testing Methods: Investigate and propose improved methods of testing which result in a cost, ease, speed, safety, quality, accuracy improvement.
  • Contribute to Quality Department Management: Contribute to the general management, decision making, and activity of the Quality Department.
Managerial Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Qualified Personnel: Develop and maintain qualified personnel within the QC department through training, development, communication, and accountability.
  • Recruitment and Talent Development: Recruitment activities, graduate and employee onboarding, employee engagement, training, and talent & leadership processes within the QC department.
Other Responsibilities
  • Support Food Safety and Quality Management System: Support development and continuous improvement of Food Safety and Quality Management System.
  • Assist with Site Audits and Visits: Assist with site audits/visits/technical reviews for customers, regulatory bodies/competent authorities, and Group/Global Internal Audit, including supporting on commercial visits.
  • Develop and Implement Process Systems: Understand how to develop and implement a process system to improve operational performance.
  • Lead and Motivate Team Members: Experienced people leader, hence able to motivate and influence others (team members, peers, and senior management).
  • IT Literacy and Technical Skills: IT literate, good knowledge of Microsoft suite of products – advantageous to have SAP experience.
