About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead the definition and implementation of assurance activities for our business area, including supply chains and partnerships.
  • Support the development of business processes, plans for quality, and propose quality targets for the business area.
  • Lead preparation for internal and external audits.
  • Investigate and resolve quality events, and identify and promulgate key lessons learned.

Requirements

  • Good working knowledge and application of ISO standards.
  • NQA-1 experience is desirable.
  • Ability to investigate events using industry best-practice casual analysis tools.
  • Good working knowledge of the nuclear industry or similar highly regulated industry.

Qualifications

  • Science or Engineering degree (or equivalent).
  • Chartered member of the Quality Institute or registered on appropriate CPD Scheme.
  • Approved Auditor qualification (or demonstrable skills).
