Job Title: Plastics Manufacturing Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Plastics Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at Nicholas Associates.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate injection moulding and actuator assembly production lines on a rotational basis
* Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet customer specifications, maintaining accurate and timely records
* Conduct preventative and technical maintenance, including equipment cleaning, lubrication, and system checks
* Undertake breakdown repairs and reactive maintenance on automated assembly lines, packaging, and palletisation equipment
* Promote safe working practices and adhere to the company's \"clean as you go\" policy

Requirements:

* Experience with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic maintenance is advantageous
* Ability to read technical diagrams, drawings, and manuals
* Awareness of quality and hygiene standards relevant to the manufacturing environment
* Ability to work independently, especially outside office hours, ensuring safety and responsibility
* Analytical mindset with competent computer skills
* Eagerness to develop personal skills in line with company progression opportunities
* Flexibility to provide cover for holidays, absence, and training
